A destination wedding in Provence

The wedding season is ending and I haven’t blogged for on month… Flash back in July for the  crazy international destination wedding of Hannah and David. Hannah is German, David is Yorkshire, they are now living in Switzerland and they chosed to rent the wonderful venue of Chateau Les Oliviers de Salettes in Provence to get married in France.

I rejoigned Hannah and David to the château in the thursday afternoon to achieve their engagement session in the surrounding lavender fields, after that we returned to the Château where their guests were waiting for the wine tasting organized for their rehearsal dinner. What a good occasion to meet teir families and closest friends !

On friday Hannah and her closest friends where wainting in a room to dress up ; after awakening by music the girls have prepared all together as in the old days, a beautiful relaxing and fun moment ended with a pillow fight !

In the mean time, David was arranging the last details with his bestmen and the guests were enjoying the pool despite the thunderstorm…. Fortunately the weather changed, and the sun allowed them to make their ceremony outdoors such as in Hannah’s dreams. A beautiful ceremony that ripped me some tears.

The dinner and the party were funny and unconventional, so much that I stayed until 4 am on saturday to dance with their friends.
